Do not read off the slides! Practice your presentation, add your own signature voice and presenting style, and don't be afraid to go "off-script" and add your own opinions. It makes the presentation more authentic and personal to both the children listening and you.
Fill out our volunteer interest form! Any one is welcome to access our slides and activities for free, but by filling out the volunteer form you can also gain volunteer hours for your service. There is no limit to age to be a volunteer.
Present with others. You can do this by getting participation from the teens and kids at your church. Not only are they learning by listening, but learning by teaching.
Practice your presentation a few days in advance. By giving yourself time to prepare, you have time to learn the lesson yourself, and speak with clarity and confidence.
Have back up volunteers at your church! In the case that you are sick or cannot make it to church that week, it is good to have a backup volunteer who can fill in for you and continue with the lesson plan.
AGAIN. Sign up to become a volunteer on our "Volunteer Sign Up Form"! It is a quick contact form, and allows you to not only teach the lessons BUT get volunteer hours for it as well!
